'I've never done anything like this before, and I don't have a partner', I hear you exclaim...
No problem - you don't need prior experience in flamenco (nor any other dance technique) for this class. This is for real beginners from all walks of life.
Also, flamenco is a solo dance form, so no partner is needed.
You'll learn some of the key techniques used in flamenco dance, eg footwork, body alignment, arm positions, hand movements, rhythm etc. A dance sequence will be introduced to keep you moving at home.

Make it matter:
Although this is an introductory course, flamenco is hard stuff, so you should practice during the week so you don't forget Maestro Dietz's valuable material between classes. So if you enrol, please make sure you set aside a regular practice time for yourself to support your new education, and stick to it.
What to wear:
Flamenco gear is not expected at this level, however it's recommended that you wear comfortable clothes that allow full range of movement, eg track/yoga pants or full circle skirt to calf length, and tee-shirt. Shoes should be hard leather closed toe, with at least a 3cm broad chunky heel.
Please refer to 'FAQs' in the main menu above for further information.
