Principal Teacher:
Angelica Casado

Angelica Casado began studying flamenco at the age of four under Adriana Rodriguez, and continued her journey at Los Carmonas Dance Academy (directed by Rodriguez) where she had the opportunity to perform at a range of events and competitions including the McDonald's Performing Arts Challenge Eisteddfod (first place solo 2007), Sydney Latin Festival (Darling Harbour) and the pinnacle of her flamenco career, as a dancer in Opera Australia's 'Carmen' production.

At Los Carmonas, she was very fortunate to also train under and perform with Tomás Dietz, who she has rejoined since moving to Canberra. She has also trained under Pepa Molina and undertaken workshops with renowned Australian and Spanish flamenco artists. Recently, she performed at the National Folk Festival 2019 with The Flamenco Centre.
